Every client interaction begins with a brief Discovery Phone Call. This 15-minute call is an opportunity to discuss your project and confirm that we are a fit for your goals and timing. This conversation also ensures I arrive at your design consultation with everything I need to make the most of our time together.
After the Discovery Call, an in-person Initial Consultation is scheduled.
Initial Design Consultation

Our Interior Design consultations are 90-minute working meetings at your home with design advice and solutions that will inspire you and get your project moving .
With our extensive expertise and years in the industry, we are able to provide tremendous value during this first meeting.
If we are meeting to discuss a renovation or full service interior design project with you, the goal of this consult is to exchange ideas and establish a scope of work for your project. We will also be discussing your budget at this meeting, so please consider what you would like to invest in your project.
Please note that all of our design plans are preceded by an Initial Consultation.
Full Service Interior Design Plan
Full Service Design—is exactly that: from the Initial Consultation* to final installation we provide the full scope of design services and handle every detail of your project.
Floor plans and Vision Boards to help you envision your new space
All furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, wall coverings & paint selections
Procurement of your selected items from our trusted vendors
Ordering, tracking, receiving, inspection & delivery
Coordination with painters and tradespeople for installation, where required
Designer attendance at install for proper placement & styling
Full-Service Interior Design Plans are customized based on your project.
Designer on Call Plan
Our Designer on Call Plan is perfect for those that need more design guidance than a 90-minute consultation but aren’t currently looking for a Full-Service Plan.
Need assistance making selections for a space and want us to come alongside you to shop at retail or source items with you on-line?
Do you have a list of design-related to-dos we can assist you in completing? The Designer on Call Plan is the opportunity to get professional design results as we make decisions together and you execute the purchasing and installation.
Plans start at 25 hours.
Your hours and plan will be scheduled and completed within a 90-day period to keep your design plans progressing and ensure that we are available to meet when you need us.
Each month you’ll receive a report detailing how your design time has been used and how much time is remaining.
Renovation Projects
Renovation projects are my sweet spot, and for that reason I earned my Certification as a Remodeling Project Manager (CRPM). My knowledge of renovations allows me to be an excellent teammate with contractors and suppliers, and an advocate for my clients.
Renovations may be for a kitchen, bath, lower level or an entire home. Regardless of the size of your project, we have outstanding industry partners to ensure all phases of your project are seamless and beautifully executed! These projects always begin with the Initial Consultation.
Initial Consultation for Renovation Projects
$395
Our renovation consultations are 90-minute working meetings where we freely provide design advice and recommendations to help you see the potential of your renovated space. We will discuss function, layout, flow into adjacent spaces and storage as well as materials and finishes to consider.
At the completion of our meeting we will have the information needed to schedule a meeting with one of our contractors or design-build partners to initiate the planning phase of your project. KCD has a large base of trades with whom we have established relationships. If you already have contractors but need design assistance, we welcome the opportunity to join your team!
Design Phase of Your Renovation
Your renovation is an investment and our role is to increase the value of that investment through excellent design recommendations and selections.
Selections such as cabinetry, counter tops, sinks, faucets, appliances, lighting, flooring, tile, paint colors, etc.
Assisting in the space planning and room layouts, managing aspects of product purchasing/delivery and ensuring the design is fully realized.
Quoted at a flat fee based on the scope of your project and services provided by KCD.
